I have always loved to write. I attempted to write my first book before I was 10. With the emphasis on ‘attempt’. Since high school I have written stories, songs, poems, columns and even made a few attempts to write a book. If I say I have ‘written’ songs, I mean I have written the lyrics and the song was only in my mind.

However, with the advance of technology and having a bit more time on my hands I have now been able to add both audio and video to my lyrics liberating my full creativity. On this page you can find my most successful recent attempts as “Marq Wilde”.

But getting your songs on YouTube is easier than getting it on the likes of Spotify, Apple Music or any of the other 140+ streaming music providers. However, it is not that hard. Just sign up with a music distributor like DistroKid, CD Baby, LANDR, Amuse or TuneCore and your art will be on Spotify before you know it. But just which music distributor too chose does have certain long term ramifications, such as Youtube Content ID, royalty split, yearly costs to keep your music streamable and so on! Also, there are many music distributors to choose from! Reddit and the world wide interweb gives you a plethora of information, but nothing nicely structured.

Being a structured person myself, I found myself building the most complete database of music distributors on the www. Rather than keep it for myself – which seemed like a waste, I have build this simple site to help you to find ‘the best music distributor’, which depends on who YOU are, how much money you have, expect to make and how much songs you expect to publish.

Enjoy the site, I hope it helps and let me know if you find anything missing.
